I live in a little red house with a big garden in the countryside. Despite my line of work (or maybe because of it) I am otherwise a very analog guy. I spend a lot of time outdoors on one of my projects, or running in the woods and along the nearby stream. When I can, I also hop on my motorbike and drive off on some winding road. My biggest passion though, which I spend most of my spare time on, is music. I listen to all kinds of music and play several instruments. One of my dreams is to build a studio out in the barn.
Practically my whole adult life I’ve lived in or around the country’s capital, Stockholm. I love going to concerts, the opera, trying some cool new restaurant or inviting friends for an evening of good food and fine wines. I am however a country boy at heart and yearn the open landscape (as long as I get a dose of culture from time to time). Last year an opportunity opened up for me to take over the family’s country house outside the town I grew up in. I took the chance and spent the better part of a year cleaning out more than 20 years of accumulated junk and making the house livable year-round. It has been a huge challenge (for instance, persevering through winter with an outside temperature sometimes below -20°C/-4°F in a house without insulation), but I finally made it and fulfilled one of my dreams. I now live and work from my little country house.
I have a very curious nature. I love to educate myself, try different hobbies and sometimes even another line of work. I have, in addition to my web development degree, also studied business economics, psychology, and languages. And, I am a certified sommelier (beverage specialist). So, if you don’t need help with IT for the moment, would you perhaps like a wine tasting?
